I'm shocked...

I don't understand why some entertainment/music vendors still use cassette tapes?

I can't even listen to them because I don't have a cassette player! Not in my home or cars.

You'd think it would be more cost effective to burn CDs. I would imagine that most people have CD players and no longer have cassette players.

Did any of you run into this problem? Or wonder the same thing?

I think it is basically over a legal issue. While burning cd's are great it is still for private use. Hypothetically speaking, someone from a record company is at your wedding and they question where your dj got their music, the guy from the record company finds out that is a burned cd, your dj basically can lose their business. I am sure it is more involved in then that. Also, when you burn a cd, the sound quality still is not as good as the original cd. I hope this helps.... : )
