I'm so out of touch!

Looking for a good bar in the city to meet up with friends. DH and I will be in town for Thanksgiving and we were going to set up camp somewhere for happy hour the Monday after T-day so we can let all of our friends know where we are and everyone can congregate instead of us trying to see everyone separately.

Any suggestions?

A friend of mine used to do this (he was in the service) and I used to get po'ed when he would come back and say: 'This is where I'm going to be, if you want to see me, come there, otherwise, screw you...' But then one night I went...And guess what? I met DH (he was a friend of our friend in the service)...So now I guess it's not so bad!

Oh, I don't mean to screw my friends at all, it's just that we're only going to be in the city on that one day, so there's no way we would be able to get to see everyone.

that's great that you met your DH at your friend's happy hour Maybe there'll be some love connections in two weeks
