My deadline was March 9th (Saturday) and I am still missing responses for like 25-30 people. :( Why are people so inconsiderate? Anyway, when do I start calling these people??? Lisa

I would wait until Wednesday or Thursday for the people that did not mail the cards until 3/9/02.

people might not have realized you had such an early RSVP date...I would wait at least a week

People are funny. I had someone tell me they`re coming and then asked if they still needed to send the card back. I only stamped it and addressed it for them, what else so they want? LOL As important as this is to you as the bride, remember that unorganized or forgetful people are still who they are whether it`s their own bills or your wedding reply. I`ve always been pretty good about getting things like this back to people on time but now I try to send them back ASAP since I know what it`s like to be the bride waiting for all the replies. I`d give it a few days. Then start calling. Split up the calls up with your fi, mother or FMIL if you don`t want to make all the calls, depending on whose guest it is. It will all work out fine.

You will probably get a bunch today and tomorrow. Unless you are out of time, I wouldnt start calling until next week. We got a good amount back in the week after the response date.

Unless you`re under pressure from the catering hall, I would wait before calling. We were missing a lot of our responses as well, we got a lot of them after the rsvp date. Give some extra time maybe a week and a half. But definitely call if you don`t get them back. We found out one person didn`t get their invite, another sent it back they were coming but we never got it! Most of the people who didn`t send them back weren`t coming though.

i would send it through the grapevine of your family. Do not call them personally yet, but have some people in your family or fiance's family mention it to them.
