I'm such an idiot.

I'm so honest.
Chase made a mistake and applied an extra payment to my bill. But I called and had it fixed.
They were very appreciative.
How many others would do that? Come on, fess up! I know there's good in the world!!!

Note: Chances are they would have found the problem anyway and it would have been corrected.

I am like you..i always fess up..I guess i think if i don't ..eventually the score will be set straight

I did that with a Health Insuarance check. They sent me a check so I called and they said 'opps, that was supposed to go to your doctor'. They would have caught it and it would have come out later on ... it's better to just have it correct from the begining

As tempting as it would have been to overlook it, my motto is what goes around comes around .. I truly believe in that. Somehow I'd get screwed if I overlooked their error.

I'd worry too much about the repercussions if I didn't fix their error.

Absolutely they can find it, my mother works in a bank and dthey deposited 800 $ in to the wrong account, that person rather then fess up withdrew the money, she was arrested for stealing.. Due to the fact that they gave her the chance to return it and she didn't. Moral of the story what goes around comes around be careful big bother is watching LOL
