Finally, after a year of thinking about it..I have an appoinmtnet to get it done. I went through a recomendation of a friend. I am so excited! No more blow drying for an hour then heating iron!! Thanks to all the LIW girls who gave me their info!

Good for you!!! I have had it done twice and love it!!! I started growing out my hair. Now that it is back to wavy, I want to shoot myself. I am definitely going to get it done again as soon as I can fit it into my schedule.

I went through a rec of a friend's friend. She had it done at Eddie D's salon in Centereach. The owner used to work for Kyoto (?) in the city and has been doing it for years! he will be the one doing it. I actually met a girl there that did it and her hair was so amazingly soft and straight! She said it was the best thing that ever happened to her!! I cannot wait! It's pricey$500 but well worth it in my opinion. Thanks for your info Beth by the way!

Can you get this done if you have colour treated hair? I just started highlighting my hair & so desparately want tio have straight hair, but I am ascared. Now with the blonde you can see the frizz soooo easily, but I love the way the blonde looks on me. So torn.

I just got mine done almost a month ago and i love it too. As far as highlighted hair im not sure if its a good idea because of all the chemicals. It might not take that well to your hair and it might really ruin it. Grow it out and then dont highlight it again. Im pretty sure you can just dye it. The told me i had to wait 2 weeks before dying it again. I just need to dye it because i have a lot of grays.

when I first got it done my hair was highlighted
I am pretty sure the whole point of of JP is it safe for all hair
I started getting it done over 3 years ago when it first came out- I am sure the products are better now
