I made chocolate rugalah!!!yummy!!!
you can really make any flavor...
2 cups flour
3/4 cup cold butter (chopped)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 t vanilla
with a pastry blender or two knives, cut butter into flour until it is the size of small peas (there will be a lot of loose flour still)
stir in sour cream and vanilla just until the dough holds together. turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and kned gently about 10 times
divide the dough into thirds (you can make smaller cookies and divide into fourths to make more cookies). Wrap the other in plastic wrap and set aside.
roll the dough out into a 10 inch circle...place strips of chocolate filling onto the circle...you can also use any flavor jam to make different flavor rugalah (like apriocot, raspberry or strawberry)
cut the dough into 12 wedges and roll up from the wider edge to the point...with the point underneath...dip the top in sugar (or cinnamon sugar if you like) andbake 20-25 min at 375
