I may get in trouble for this one . ..

But . . . .I feel like everyone is making such a BIG deal about all the little minute details regarding the wedding day.....do you ever feel like you or other people who are helping you are strayed away from the fact that it is not about the wedding reception itself, but about the exchanging of vows and starting your life with the person that you love? I love my fiance and I cant wait to MARRY HIM. The reception is just the fun party afterwards. If something is not perfect, then so be it. Sorry, everyone is making such a big deal about me looking perfect and worrying what other people will like and dislike about my wedding and I just got fustrated and told them, as long as I am married to DF at the end of the day...then everything went perfect.

I dont want to offend anyone, but in my life right now, it seems that people are worrying me with everything that may go wrong or a decision that I might make wrong, etc. I just want to be married...and start my life with DF.....

Its just one of those days.

I totally agree with you...

...butttttttttt, if that's in reference to THIS board then I kinda don't get it because this site is geared towards helping each other PLAN the wedding.

I think that 99% of the women on here are about their FH, and are looking to marry them as the best part of their wedding day.

But it's totally fun to plan out the details in the process. As long as you never lose sight of what it's all about, I think it's wonderful to go back and forth with details.

As for people LIKING what I do at my wedding....I really don't care. It's my way or the highway - and you should tell them that too!

i totally agree with you.. thants why i want to spend as little as possible. Id rather have the money to buy a house ... a place for us to start building our life together. I really dont want to sweat the small stuff
