The same thign happen when i took my first BC....
I got the same way u describe it....

I went to the Gyno and tecnically 'demand' to be switch to ANY other pills that was not going to take me to Jail...

I've been in Othotryciclen every since =) Very happy....

ugh that's the worst. They say it takes three months for you body to get adjusted. Sometimes I don't know if I can wait that long...it's so liberating when you find the right BC though

I work for an OBGYN- defiantly have to give it like 2-3 month to let your body adjust. I just started BC like 5 months ago.. I was crazzzy

Is this Loestrin? Your symptoms sound a lot like mine. That's how I was in the beginning for few months. Much better now, somewhat....

I hate BC pills I had a lot of trouble with them like two pregnancies while on them and LOSS of sex drive where I HATED SEX lol. I went on the Nuva ring and LOVED it. But it wasn't working right with mybody so after being on it for a year I had to switch Soo upset :( Now I am on the generic version of Yaz and I love it but I hear now they have a recall on it some girls are having serious side effects. My gyno said since I am fine with it I could stay on it but its up to me. I swear everytime I find one that i like tehre has to be something with it. IT *****

It is true about what your doc says sometimes it does level out.

I take Loestrin and I am the same way. FH was actually concerned with the temper and mood swings. For a while I was really weird when I was pmsing and it was uncontrollable. Every time I see the commerical for PMDD and they name all the symptoms it's exactly how I am. Idk if it has to do with BC or what, but it s*cks!

I would go to you doc and talk to him again, or maybe go see another one just for another opinion.

You have to give your body time to adjust to the hormones.
You will even out, but you need to give it time to work.

Not with me...
When I got the pills (which I dont remember names now) I WAS BAD for like 1 months... HORRIBLE Moods.....
Then I switch to Orthro and I feel Better Right away =)

This happened to me when I got put on LoEstrin. I had to change immediately. I was spotting constantly and i could have snapped at any moment. People were afraid to talk to me. Now that I switched, i feel like a normal human being again.

i HATE loestrin!!!! i had my doctor switch me right away to Yasmin - i've never had a problem. and not for nothing, if i was the way you are now, i would ask to be switched right away - i don't what the doctor says about waiting. its not healthy or normal to be like this.

I haven't taken bc in years bc of this. weight gain, violent mood swings...yeah..

Switch now. Honestly. tell your dr that's it you're done. yes, it may level out, but if you're unhappy, do some research yourself on different bcs and then go in w a list.

I did this with my gastro and dermat0ologist. I wad done w all their meds. I picked a drug after researching it and got the ok.

Sorry but this should not be happening. I've been on BC for years as well, switched a couple of times last year and never had those kinds of problems. The spotting was an issue for me but that was because the estrogen was not high enough so my Dr switched me again. How many weeks left in the pack? If not many, finish that pack and switch to a new one next month.

You know what is right for YOUR body, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Just curious though, why did you go back on it now if you had so many problems before?
