Ok so I had a few members of the bridal party over on Saturday so that they could help me stuff, stamp and address our invitations. Everything was going smooth...up until I realized...we forgot to put the invitation in the 2nd envelope. Our invitations came w/2 envelopes...one inner for the invite, and an outer to place the invitation w/enveloper in (for protection I assume). Do you think anyone will notice? It was too late to fix because we had already stamped and labeled them.

i wouldn't stress over it. what's done is done and if i were you, i'd breath a sigh of relief that the invites are ready to go! i'm dreading it, lol. i think because you know, you notice and worry about it. but i doubt anyone else will even realize. all the important pieces of info are included, that's what people will need. and they are going to be looking at your beautiful invites, not noticing how they were put together inside of the envelope. do not worry yourself at all!!

No one will notice one bit. We didn't even use inner envelopes - so don't stress.

Our invitations are the type with no inner envelopes so people will think yours just didnt have an inner envelope!! Dont worry!!

OH..but I forgot to mention....that we did not include 'Adult reception' on the invite..so we have to go back in now and put that in the envelopes somehow. UGH!

Does it matter if you don't have 'adult reception' on there. I heard from friends of mine that people automatically assumed they were able to bring children w/them? My FH and I had a semi-argument about this because I want no children at the reception other than my son who is 15 and the RB and FG. He wants his niece who is 11 to come..and feels she will never forgive him if she can't come..but I feel it's unfair to allow her to come and not his other niece...who is 8? This is a tough situation here...

people sometimes do assume that they can bring their kids to a wedding...however if the invite isn't made out the Mr & Mrs so and so and family...then no kids! I had one guest (my fathers co worker) ask if he could bring his 11 year old son, b/c they had no one to watch him...since he asked I said ok. But other than that exception NO kids besides the FG and RB
