I met with 12th Night last night

Yay! Fiance actually came to LI (he's actually at house right now still snoozing!) and we went to 12th night.

Holy cow, love Dominick and LOVE LOVE LOVE the work. It's just so 'me'....

I saw he had some cards and he gave me a demo of his friend's video - Mitter Max - great sample and i KNOW the girl in the video...she lived in my town and went to HS with my brother...how wierd is that? He also had Bravura the DJ - who I am def. going to look at. They are all his friends. But he wasn't pushy or anything...actually I was...I wanted the info.

So....I liked him. I am still commiting myself to seeing more and more photogs cause I want the best deal and the best fit...but last night was good!

He just did a friend of friend's wedding...and the pics are great.

Oh...the only sad thing is that he wouldn't do my wedding because he only does the photojournalistic now...but his brother's work is just as good as his and i just loved had technically advanced they were.

since i do some of this for a living (plan events, press conferences, setting up shots, doing newsletters, flyers, etc.) i really want someone who is more cutting edge... if you are interested in that, I'd check him out....unless you are my date twin and then i say no. hehehehe

thanks...after my experience the other night, this was great.

but i still want to check out all the others. but now i feel like i stepped out on the right foot and know more about what we want.

FH even said he liked the digital album! YAY

yeah yeah yeah you met with dominick he is the best. i have it in my contract that he is to be one of our photographers for our wedding.We got two one for five hours i think that is what he is going to do and the other photographer for 10 hours. nice. but went over my budget. Love his work it is more photojournalistic.

when you say digital what do you mean? is that like a virtual album, i'm confused about the whole digital thing - and i work for canon, how funny is that???

it's like an album and the pictures are printed like a magazine and it's bound like a book. but it's not like printed pictures in a traditional album. and they do overlapping and digital effects....its awesome

all the FT-recomended ones. maybe patken.

i think it may come down to silverfox and 12th night tho...that's my prediction. i could be wrong.

I am thinking about using 12th night too. I am going to see Duet this weekend and that will be the last one I see.

I have seen Patken, 12th night, lavendar, and one other i cant remember the name of it.
