I met with Flower Michele.... and Now I Need Help!!!!!
So i went to flower michele because alot of people heard good things about them. the guy i worked with was awsome and they seemed to be on my level with things. Pretty much all im getting is alot of red roses, although my centerpieces are more branches and other stuff going on with the roses.
Anyway long story short, the quote was 5 grand. I think this was alot.... am i right? Im getting married at the fox hollow, does anyone know any other good florists i could possibly look at before booking??????

I havent looked at flowers yet, but from what the other girls have had as their quotes, i'd say 5k seems really high!..What exactly are you getting?? how many CPs? high? low? bouquets? I'd call around to Pedestals and Flowers by Burton, I've heard great things about them as well

What kind of flowers are you getting? That plays a part in the price too. I would visit Pedestals, they do amazing work.

saying just 5 grand doesnt tell us much and i see others wrote its too high but if we dont know what youre getting its kind of hard to say that, some quotes are gonna be 5 grand and higher
now you said medium Cp's but i think they're probably considered high...also you mentioned you have branches in the cp's, what kind? and besides roses will youhave anything else in the cp? Also are there any flowers you are forgetting, such as pew bows, altar arrangements?
although for 14 cp's even if they are high with just 5 bok's and 5 bouts and all it might be a little high BUT branches are more expensive than flowers so this is why im asking what exactly did you get? also for bok's, bouts and the rest you didnt say what kind of flowers each are...also you said tulle for the benches, how much of this are you doing? this is what can be raising your price

Maybe your centerpieces are whats making the price so high. What kind of branches and what kind of flowers do you have? Do you know how much he's charging you per centerpiece? That does sound like a high quote. My friend used pedastals when she got married and she really liked their work.

i am working with fm and my contract is for a 1, 050! But i am getting low centerpieces, no decor for the church/catering hall and only getting two bm bq and my bq and seven bouts. My flowers are green orchids, bells of ireland, ivory roses, jade roses, and peach roses.

I'm getting all roses too and Flower Michele was great with the price. They actually are giving us more flowers than the other florists we met with. How many flowers per bouquet are you getting? How many flowers per CP?

I would definitely shop around. I know roses are expensive though and it depends how many you have but it is worth looking around.

whoa thats high! and i thought my just under $2k was a lot!
try calling Keyth from Lovin Oven Floral Designs. ask him what kind of pricing he can give you for what you want!
