I thought he was very good. Any feedback on him? He told me that he shoots everything in digital and i was wondering if anyone else is having a photographer that does that or if anyone had him and received their photos that were shot in digital and how they turned out.
Any info would be appreciated.
I booked Paul last year for my November 2002 wedding I have only heard good things about him, but I haven't heard anything about the digital. Compared to the other three photographers I went to he was the most impressive, and best priced. Good luck.
I also have him booked for my August 2002 wedding, and I've also heard nothing but great things about him. His work is beautiful. Check the Vendor ratings, and someone posted something about him since they used him for their wedding. You can also check posts from last year all the way back to January and look up Paul Marino. That's when I got info about him. There were a lot of great things said about him. I can't wait to see what kind of pictures he can take since I always think I look horrible in pictures. Good luck!
All my photos were digital. They are unbelieveable. You cannot believe how many compliments I get on my proofs and forget about the albums! They are WOW!!! I love love love my photos. He was worth every dime...the nicest guy to spend the day with. When they say digital though, you do get negatives so don't worry about that. They store them on a server somewhere. I saw Mark Kaufman's response to you on the vendor site - my proofs were 5x5s - no thumbnails. Also, all of my printing was professional on pro paper -- it's not being done by someone like you or me! Paul is a pro. And I had some great candids...
Paul did our e-pics a couple of weeks ago and was showing us his new set-up and how excited he is about going digital. He also ASSURED us that he sends EVERYTHING out to be printed professionally. You are not going to get thumbnail proofs or ink jet prints.
