I miss my dad

When I was living at home with my dad mornings like this would never happen!! He would of never had me in the snow shoveling.

I was outside digging my car out of the snow since 5:15am

FH has a lot to learn!

Sounds like u have a wonderful dad u are very lucky, mine sux!!!!!! Thank god my FH is a much better man than my father evr will be!!!! Sorry u had to dig ur car out all alone!

me too - there are so many things my dad did that i always took for granted!

I am so going to miss him next year!! I woke up 45 min early to help him but he was already half way done and had my entire car cleaned off and all warmed up for me!!

That's funny, what you sai dmade me think about my dad and as a kid, he would have expected me to be out helping, but now that I'm an adult, he does a lot more... I don't know if it has to do with the fact that I'm a woman or that he live in PA now and he just wants to do more for me?
FH DEF never would have let me go outside to shovel by myself if he was able to get to me. As it is he was complaining I had to go out last night and shovel. I'll send my FH over to yours and have him give lessons

Sorry you had to shovel by yourself though, I know how much it *****. My back is killing me!

You should tell FH nicely what you want or else the resentment will build up and you have lots of winters to share together..maybe no one taught him.
