I moved this weekend!

Im in my own apartment now, Jason just left for work. It was the craziest thing ever. I spent all week moving things in, and then I went to walmart, and then we food shopped and went to BBB to get everything else we need. Our living room is box furniture for now and we got a second hand counch until after the wedding when we buy a new one! I got our bedroom furniture, with the exception of my headboard, rails and footboard TBDelivered in May.

Wow - It is soo different! Our personalities clashed right away - its hard work to get along living together - but yesterday we took it easy and just food shopped - so it was much better than Saturday when i wanted to toss him in the dumpster! Im sure he wanted to do the same to me.

Its nice waking up to him. I made his lunch for him this morning and sent him off to work. I miss my parents house tho (have to get used to saying that) mom called me so much yesterday - about 5 times. I had to go back for something saturday and it felt weird. I stilll have soooo much there and moving in i didnt realize how much I own!!! I donated a bunch of clothes I havent worn, and shoes too - and I still have to go thru my closet one more time, bc Jason needs to hang clothes too

Im sitting here trying to think of what im cooking for dinner tonite. The deal is he cooks when im in class and since no class - im cooking!

He kept turning to me yesterday saying 'were really doing this' or 'this is our place' I still cant believe this is happening.

awww congrats on the place, what a big move, we have our first apartment and we are moving in slowly cleaning up and putting furniture in our bedroom set doesn't come until sat. and we are already argue over silly things like who brought this macy's bag in and why is it not put away instead of him putting it away. It's all about getting use to each other ways I am so scared to move in with him I think he is going to drive me insane

Completely true!! Im neat, hes ok neat - I tripped over her size 16 sneakers he left out in the middle of the floor - so i put them in the closet and he was like WHYYYYY!!!!! bc I almost killed myself on your shoes - or how to set up the kitchen cabinets - we were each raised to differently and now it shows.

congrats, it took time for fh and I to get use to living together as well. but he is the closet hog.

Awww thats soo exciting... Brian and I had arguments the other day about his stuff when we move in together He wants to hang a poster (wolverine) in the bedroom

Glad you guys worked it out though... Must've been stressfull with all the emotions going on.. How did your mom take you moving out.. My mom is going to be a basket case.. and i probably will be too

Hmm and as far as what took cook.. decide on what type of food you want to make and look up recipes online.

Thanks Marisa! I was sitting at the freezer, we have chicken, ground beef, pork chops, and oxtail. I dont know what in the world to cook - I still have to take my pans out of the box!

Were getting the hang of it. I just made end tables out of some boxes. Once everything is in and put together - he chilled out and was ok.

exactly - my mom begged me to move in in May and let him live here - yea ok mom - not only wouldi t be stressful getting married and then living together from my POV - but id have to redecorate who knows what it would look like!

Jason collects movie posters and memorabilia - so as long as im going to put pictures all over of friends and family - he is going to decorate the living room movie style - i get in on which poster go up, bc some are graphic and gory.

Jason collects movie posters and memorabilia - so as long as im going to put pictures all over of friends and family - he is going to decorate the living room movie style - i get in on which poster go up, bc some are graphic and gory.

Thats a cool theme for the living room though...Definitely stay away from blood and guts

Yay!!! Congrats on moving in! Isn't it great waking up next to him? When FH and I moved in together a few months ago we also had some adjusting to do, FH and I are still arguing over how everytime he takes something off a hanger he puts it on the doorknob to whichever door he is closest to, Plus he always puts dishes away in the most random spots. lol Its totally worth it though. Good luck with cooking dinner tonight and unpacking! you are going to enjoy getting to set up your new home!!!
