awww congrats on the place, what a big move, we have our first apartment and we are moving in slowly cleaning up and putting furniture in our bedroom set doesn't come until sat. and we are already argue over silly things like who brought this macy's bag in and why is it not put away instead of him putting it away. It's all about getting use to each other ways I am so scared to move in with him I think he is going to drive me insane

Completely true!! Im neat, hes ok neat - I tripped over her size 16 sneakers he left out in the middle of the floor - so i put them in the closet and he was like WHYYYYY!!!!! bc I almost killed myself on your shoes - or how to set up the kitchen cabinets - we were each raised to differently and now it shows.

I moved in in with FH in Jan. and we are still trying to figure out how to live toegteher and set everything up. We ar constantly chaning stuff around. I know it hasn't been a long time but we fight and bicker and love each other anyway. I still wonder when its going to get eaisier. but its so much fun. I love being with him everuday and night

Aww Lindsay, that's so exciting!!! FH and I don't officially live together (in the house that we might be getting thrown out of by his parents ) but he was away this weekend so I had to stay there to doggie-sit. It really made me feel like we are living together and he was just away. Very exciting feeling! I can't wait til it's 'official!'

CONGRATS !!! You'll be fine. Just remember that we all are/went through the same thing. FH and I moved in together 2 months ago and like everyone else, we are also working out the kinks. My advice is Don't Sweat the Small Stuff. We each have our chores. He makes the bed and I make lunch. Its not always easy, but its truly worth waking up with him and going to sleep.

Good luck !!!

Awwww congrats. I can't wait to move in with FH. I know it may be tough at first but you'll be fine. You seem to be working kinks out but that's expected at first.

its so exciting!!! yet so frustrating!!!
FH and I moved in together last May so almost a year already ( ). The first 2 months were us getting used to each other FULL TIME. and realizing we both have very different views about what CLEAN means. (him--dirty dishes in the sink still constitutes a 'clean' kitchen!)

but after we got used to each other it got SO MUCH easier and now i can really say that we made our own home and we have our parents over and it just feels amazing to live with my best friend!

Re: I moved this weekend!

Isn't it so much fun??????

Here is a really easy recipe that DH (AND HIS FAMILY!!!) L-O-V-E-S!

Angela's Chicken Saltimbocca

Chicken Breast (thinly sliced and beat with a tenderizer)
1 Package of Proscuitto
1 Package of frozen spinach
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper
Parmeggiano Reggiano
1 can of Low Sodium Chicken Broth

Thinly slice and tenderize Chicken Breast
Defrost and de-water 1 package of frozen spinach

Sprinkle each piece of chicken with Salt and Pepper to taste (I don't put too much because there is a lot of flavor as it is in this meal!)

Layer each chicken slice with Prosciutto and Spinach, then sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Roll chicken up and pin with toothpicks (I use 2 for extra enforcement)

In LARGE skillet, heat up Olive Oil

Brown chicken in skillet, then remove chicken and put it to the side.

Add 1 can of chicken broth and 2 tbsp of Lemon Juice to the skillet and scrape remnants of the skillet (it will be just some chicken bits, some spinach....it makes a killer sauce)
Now add the chicken back in to the pan and continue cooking until chicken is done!

This is soooooooooo tasty and so easy!!! It takes less then 30 minutes to cook (take that Rachel Ray!!)

I serve this either with Cooked asparagus with Olive Oil and grated cheese or with Baby Penne with cherry tomato, garlic and Olive Oil.

Mangia!

Re: I moved this weekend!

awww. thats sooo awesome. it's definitely an adjustment. FH and I moved in together this past July and we are still adjusting. we each have a different way of doing things = his way and the right way (my way) so that is definitely a compromise we are still making.

its a lot of fun though.. there have been countless times well be laughing and joking around and one of u will say, 'i cant believe they let us live together - suckers.. lol' or 'our kids better be born at 30 years old b/c someone needs to be the adult in the house'

Re: I moved this weekend!

Awh, congratulations!!! How exciting.
And don't worry, as much as it can be frustrating at times
It's all so fun learning more about each other and playing house. FYI, I never cooked before I moved in with FH (well other then Mac and Cheese and pasta and jar of sauce). But once I moved in, I learned form him and I now love to cook, to the point I have a big collection of recipes. You'll see it's all good
