a photographer/videographer near Brooklyn that is reasonably priced!!! I received a call yesterday from a house vendor frm my RH and they want soooo much $$$$$ (close to $10K for photo and video). I think that is a BIT steep.

Proline Studios is based out of Franklin Square (with another office in Melville), but they very well may travel to you for the day of. And you certainly won't be paying $10K.

Does it have to be near Brooklyn? I absolutely LOVE Artisan Media Group. Their work, their personalities, the prices aren't bad either. I'm sure they'd go to Russo's. My church and home are near Russos. I'd definitely check them out. Photography is THE most important part of the wedding to me, and I looked around a lot. I saw Chuck's work when he was at another company and tracked him down to Artisan. They do a nice mix of posed shots, candids, and photojournalism if you'd like. It's all about photography. I went to some other (major) vendors and they showed me albums but had no idea which photographer did the album and they didn't seem to think it made a difference. To me it makes ALL the difference. I won't want a homogenized album of copies of stock photos. I want creativity!
Can you tell I'm passionate about this? Seriously call Artisan. Lynn is a doll (office manager) and Chuck is talented, intelligent and SO nice.
