I need a good OB/GYN & hospital!

I am so excited!
Just found out 11/30 we're pregnant - it was a real surprise as this was not planned. Nonetheless, we are over the moon! Just found out today I'm 5-6 weeks. We're waiting for results of sonogram before we tell anyone & I feel like I'm gonna bust.
I really need help in finding a good OB/GYN affiliated with a good LI hospital. We currently live in Queens so a Nassau hospital would be preferred. My GYN is great & said she would refer me to someone but does anyone out there have any suggestions? I love that whole birthing center thing that I believe they have at Winthrop Hospital. Please advise!!!!!

My Doctor is a member of the University Plaza Obstetrics & Gynecology group. They are on Stewart Avenue in Garden City. They are affiliated with Winthrop. I have seen 5 of the 7 doctors and have liked them all. They were recommended to me by my girlfriend that had twins. There number is 516-222-0722. They have a mix of men (4) and woman (3).

My Dr. is affiliated with Winthrop. She is on Old Country Road in Garden City (close to Roosevelt Field). She is in practice by herself so you are almost guaranteed to have her deliver your baby. She shares office space with 2 other doctors. FM if you would like her info. She is so sweet.
