hey michi, just be careful...a 'repiercing' can take alot longer to heal than a first piercing, and it may need a bit more care.

It depends on how thick/hard the scar tissue is from the old one. They may just reopen the old one if the skin is still pliable and if there is still a dent where the hole opening used to be.
My sister had her belly ring repierced & she said it bled a little & she had to wash it a little more frequently than the first time...oh & she couldn't wear pantyhose for like, a month afterward, only thigh highs b/c it would irritate her...she had it re-peirced through the existing hole.
