I need a good recommendation!

Here is the story: DH and I got home on Friday night and went to turn on the TV to relax for a bit before bed. The lamp was already on in the LR/DR. As he turns on the TV the power goes out to the LR/DR. All the other lights in the house work. We fliped the switches in the fusebox countless times! Still, nothing.

DH says that either the outlet went bad, and all the rest follow it on the circuit or the breaker broke. I don't know but what I do know is that we will most likely need an electrician! DH is going to try some stuff, but if it doesn't work then it is above his head.

I am looking for a good, but not overly expensive, electrician licensed for Nassau county (we're in Wantagh). Anyone know someone good?

My BM is an electrian. I can see if he does side work or not.

I dont have a recommendation but we may be in the same boat - except with my clothes dryer We just bought the house and the dryer was working fine and then it wasnt after DH was at the fuse box and....oh its a long story but we are hoping its a bad circuit breaker only.

I hope yours is something simple DH can take care of
