I need a good seamstress in one of the five boroughs

I ordered my BM dresses online and my girls will need to have them altered. HELLLLPPPPP

Can I get a dress altered altered at a store that I did not buy from?

I second Karin Yngvesdotter. She's a doll...she altered my wedding gown, sewed a new lining in my fur capelet and sewed my veil onto a different comb. She did an awesome job on everything!
