I forget the name but the best I know of is on Park Ave in Long Beach.....the name is escaping me right now??? That's the only good sushi I've ever had on LI.

Takara in Islandia... it is soooooooooo-ooo good. I;ve eaten at all kinds of different sushi places in the city, but Takara is hands down the best!

Tomo is wonderful. There is one in Smithtown and I think one in Huntington.

Tai Show in Massapequa.... SOOOO yummy. My FH is VERY picky with his sushi (he lived in Alaska while in the Air Force, so he has very high standards now). We went there for his birthday... you get the private booths, if you make reservations. Soooo good.

Kotobuki!! I'm not sure what area it is considered though, it's on 347 in Suffolk County and in a shopping center..sorry! Hopefully the LI girls would know, I'm a Queens girl

Kotobuki... It is in happague near comp USA. It was rated by Zagats as the best restaurant on long Island.
