My mom told me to go into the attic and get all my Christmas Ornaments and anything else I want to take with me...Let me tell you, I was SO EMOTIONAL!!
I was crying the whole time.
I have never been away from home in 27 years. Vacations yes, but I stayed home for college, and I've been in the same house for 27 years. I was just like 'Am I going to be able to handle this?'
Anyone else feel the same way? :( I need a hug

Awww. I went away to college and was ok, but I spent a year in Rome and that was HARD because I couldn't talk to mom all the time!
I moved away from New York over 5 years ago, and I still talk to mom every day!
It is so difficult at the beginning, but you'll get through it

Awwwww! I am sorry!! I moved out of my Mom's house almost 8 years ago now and even though we get along better when I don't live there I still miss the security of knowing the lights will be on LOL!! I found that I am always over there anyway and it makes me closer to my parents!

awww don't think about leaving and the sadness of being away from home

aww i felt the same way when i moved out...but i moved out almost 2 years ago
but i literally live like a mile away from my parents so i go over all the time

I started crying like a baby after I read this post. I've been feeling the same way more and more lately. I keep thinking this will be the last Christmas at home =(
