I have a 2 year degree in Liberal Arts. I have 4 years managment in retail experience. Would like some kind of job that is basically Monday to Friday. I want to leave retail but I can not have a lower paycheck than I am making now

U can also check out websites for local colleges. Usually M-F 9-5 and great benefits. Colleges and universities r always hiring.

What about retail that is known to be a really good company. Like I hear awesome things about Trader Joe's. Someone with a few years management experience can make like $70K+, excellent benefits, etc. There are some retail jobs that people would LOVE to have - like that Top 100 companies to work for deal.
Otherwise, maybe seek out a recruiter/head hunter in your area or go back to the college you studied at and meet with their career office. I went to Molloy and their office had lots of jobs listed on the board. When I was a student at Nassau, they too had a great job board. I'm sure this is all done by computer now - back in my day, the Internet wasn't as popular. Ha ha!

WELL i don't know which companies you work for, but what about working in the office of their headquarters instead of in the store.
Is it what you truly want? fh's friend is in retail management and now is making $300,000 a year so make sure its something you want to leave behind

I used to work for retail and after a certain point, 4 years for me, I had it and moved on.

yeah he worked his way up and he doesnt do store manager but now he is the north eastern district manager for armani exchange and now they offered him regional i think, i just know its the main manager of all ax stores
