Hi All I am new to the boards, but I've been lurking for a while :)
I'm looking for someone that does hair/makeup at your house on the day of the wedding. I know I'm going to be super nervous and not wanting to travel all over the place that day, so I think if I can get someone to come and do my hair/makeup at home, I'll feel a lot better!
I have heard of thebridallounge, are there any others you can recommend that do both? Thank you :)

I can't really help, as I'm going to a salon, but I wanted to say Congrats! And I notice you're getting married at Rockville Links....my dad's been a member there forever and I had my e-party there They do beautiful weddings, you won't be disappointed!

I used Lauren and Shab. (My wedding hair and makeup- vendor on here).
Lauren is my regular hair person and Shad did my epics and wedding day makeup.
THey traveled to me and did others in my BP.

My DIL used Helene - The Art of Make up for their wedding. She traveled from Brooklyn to the Hilton Garden Inn JFK along with one of her hair stylists. Helene did makeup while the other girl did hair. They were very good.
They are on New Utrecht Ave between 75th & 76th Streets. She will do a trial for you too.

I'm using Andrea from ******************* for makeup. She is VERY REASONABLY priced.
For hair I'm using Carolyn from Sabrina and Carolyn. They are vendors on here. Carolyn is super sweet, accomodating and worked with me on price.

Jan [email protected] / 347-245-9661. She's great and reasonable. She travels too you also... and if you need someone for hair trials, her sister who works at Concept Elite in Brooklyn travels too... They did my friend's and our hair and make-up for her wedding.... great work. They are really nice too

Most makeup and hair ppl travel (for a fee). I used Oksana for makeup, she was wonderful and accomodated all different makeup tastes too (my SIL and MIL wanted a natural look bec they don't wear makeup, me and my sisters wanted a more glam wedding look and loved it). If you email her just give her time to get back to you....lol she's very busy
