I need a resturant recommendation in Nassau

I need a resturant recommendation in Nassau

My parents are coming out on Saturday to take me and DH out to dinner for my birthday. I live in Valley Stream, so someplace close to there. I know there are a couple of good places in Garden City, just not sure which to go to. I'm open to the kind of food...just something good.

We like Jonathan's on Jericho Turnpike. Semi - diverse menu and good service.

So funny i was going to reccomend Jonothan's also. Also River Bay in williston park is grerat and Dodeci in Rockville centre.

I second Dodeci in Rockville Centre, it's my favorite place!!!

Also in Mineola on Jericho Turnpike, there is a place called Lareria, which serves the BEST stuffed lobster and it is soooo reasonable.

I love Nick & Maggie's on Union Tpke in New Hyde Park. Excellent food, cool atmosphere.

Crabtree's in Floral Park, Frank's Steaks in Rockville Centre, Lucky Duck in Garden City South, and Buon Giorno in Lynbrook are great places.

We had my RD at Rana's in Merrick....the food was delicious and the atmosphere is very quaint and family oriented.

I agree with Caffe Baci on Old Country Road in Westbury.

I'm also a big fan of Houston's at the Roosevelt Field Mall.

We went to Whitey Ford's once .. and I thought they were great .. especially if you're a Yankees fan. If you like the ribs at Houston's .. but hate the wait that always goes along with trying to get seated at Houston's ... Whitey Ford's is a great alternative .. since it's right outside the mall, by Houston's.
