Our dog bit my husband this morning when he tried to pet her before he left for work... it wasnt a bad bite, but she's snapped at people before... I dont know what to do and I hope I dont have to put her to sleep

It sounds like it might be more 'fear biting' then her being aggressive. Call your vet and ask about what you can do to help her be less fearful.

Get her in training and checked out by a vet. Maybe the dog is sick. PUtting an animal to sleep is not always the answer.

okay, thanks! This isnt the first time she's snapped...I called the vet and he recommended a trainer.... I hope this helps!

Please don't give up on your dog and put her to sleep. SHe can be trained not to bite, you just need to have patience. Please give her another chance

oh I'm not... she's my child... I am OBSESSED with this dog... I'm just afraid now! We had a trainer come yesterday... he used an electric shock collar.. I dont think I like that though....

I hope she gets better. I know it is hard to have an aggressive dog
