I am thinking about doing brown for the color of my bridesmaid dresses. I am getting married Dec 4th...now do u think it is okay or its to much of a fallish color. Please let me know what u think!!!!!!

I just picked up this magazine where they did a whole spread on brown. It was a beautiful setup!!! They say brown is now the new black.

because your wedding so closer to thanksgiving then to christmas, i think it is fine to incorporate fall colors. if it was more towards the middle or end of the month, i would advise against it. i am not saying that it is wrong to chose pastel, or 'fall-like' colors around christmas, it's just not the colors i would use.

i LOVE brown - that's why I chose brown and pink :) - alot of ppl told me it was a bad idea, but now that they are seeing all the details coming together they love it too
I think it will look fabulous! Just because your wedding is in Dec, doesnt mean you shoul be limited to red and green!!

If you like the look, go for it! Not sure what your decor plans are, but if you're using holiday-type flowers/plants (holly and such) brown should look fine with them.

I have the magazine in my car, but I promise you after lunch I'll post the name of it. Im leaving at 1 so I'll post it after 2pm. I wish I had a scanner though. The color scheme was stunning. I wish I could share the pictures!!

I was in a wedding that had chocolate brown as the BM colors and it was GREAT..it provided a great backdrop for the colors of flowers, it flattered all of us, and easy to shop for! Good Luck.....and here's a pic to keep you motivated!
