Hello...me again with another Bridal Party Question.....
My Sister is going to be my Matrian(sp) honor. However, I was thinking about asking my BF to be my MOH....but am unsure...we are still close but did grow apart a little over the years...I'm not even 100% sure if she would follow thru on all her MOH responibilites....but on the other hand....maybe this will make us closer again....urrrgggg I need advice!!!

Re: I need advice
Make her a BM, don't complicate things more by having her as your MOH when you already have a Matron of Honor. Your sister might be a little hurt that the honor is not hers alone.... The main reason is since you are already having doubts. There are other ways to honor special people in your life....let her do a reading, make a speech/toast.....hand out favors......

Re: I need advice
That's a tough one. I think that you might want to stick with your sister as Matron of Honor and skip asking your friend to be the MOH.
I know so many girls who asked friends they wanted to 'reunite' with to be in their BP and found themselves disappointed (the friend said 'yes' but then didn't seem enthusiastic, or the bride found that she'd drifted apart from that friend for a very good reason, etc.)
That's just my opinion, but, given the problems people seem to have with their BPs, I wouldn't want to take the risk.

I agree...if anything pick her as a BM and ask her to do a reading....

I would decide what you expect out of a MOH and talk it over w/her when you ask. I think that everyone has a different view on what they expect and that you and your BP should all be on the same page so there are no disappointments & hurt feelings.

Keep it simple!! I think in the end you will be glad you did.

I agree - making her a BM would be a better decision and probably less stressful on everyone involved in the long run.

I agree with aking her to be a BM, not MOH.

Re: I need advice
Ask her to be a BM or do a reading, do not ask her to be a MOH if you know she probably can't handle it.

Thanks eveyone...you are all right!! If I have any doubts in my mind then I will ask her to be a BM - hey, I can always ask her later on to be a MOH if things change...
