I need advice
Re: I need advice
I assume you're getting married at the RH? If if was a church I would say tell everyone yes. But at the RH it's a little harder because you go right into CH. I think I would probably say no...
Re: I need advice
Yes I am getting married at RH not a church
Re: I need advice
I would say no. You don't want the 'that's unfair talk'
Re: I need advice
I think you just need to stand your ground on this one. If you don't want kids at your wedding, for whatever your personal reason is (money, atmosphere or whatever), they shouldn't be railroading you into it. I understand if they don't want to pay $50 for a sitter, but the kid will basically have to go to the reception unless the cousin leaves with the kid after the ceremony, and that's basically asking you to pay the $50 to have her there :/
Re: I need advice
This is completely up to you, but whatever you do you have to stand your ground. You can't let one family bring kids and not another. Good luck!!

Re: I need advice
I would pick one way and stick to it. If you don't want kids than I would say no kids altogether. If you have one than you should allow others to have kids as well. Or prepare for people to be upset. Good Luck!! This is a touchy topic.
Re: I need advice
Just remember this is your wedding not theirs. You should not worry about it you have enough stress. But I agree if you say yes to one then you will be the talk and it's not fair to other guests with kids. Good luck
Re: I need advice
If you don't want kids, then its 'No' to everyone. We are dealing with this too. One of our guests wanted to bring their 1 year old to the wedding, sorry, not happening. The only exception we have made was immediate family, which is our nieces and nephew, 3 who will be in the wedding party. Your guests may not like it, but its not fair to you. What if one of them has a melt down during the ceremony, do you want that memory? I know I don't. This day is about you and your FH and what you want.
Re: I need advice
i only allowed kids from our immediate family., otherwise no kids allowed. i dont care if anyone was pissed, but thats the way we wanted it
