we are having a baby shower at work for this guy (i know i know but let me explain lol)
every shower we do baby, wedding he always chips and buys really good gifts for the girls we have the party for so i figured that we would have one for him because he always does the right thing
so i got chips, cake, cookies blah blah and we have to do favors now
i really dont have that much money left alot of people did not chip in . i guess cause it is a guy and these things really are for the women lol
any way i was thinking of making the chocolate lollipops that say baby shower. does that look cheap ???? i only have about 30 something left .(for a reg shower we go all out here cause eveyone chips in but there were not too many people that chipped in for this one..

I agree...I think anything is a nice sentiment.
We threw a baby shower for a girl at my old job and we were all low on funds. We found these really cute bootie candles at party fair (86th & 20th). They were cheap and cute and you can probably get away with them even for a guy...they have pink and blue (if you know what they are having)...not sure if there was yellow.
Just a suggestion...lollipops are definitely great!

I dont remember...maybe like $1 each...maybe less. Give them a call, I am sure they can tell you over the phone how much they are. If you don't need that many it may not add up to that much.

I think the lollipops are not CHEAP and a great idea. It is the thought that counts and honestly its the time consumed in making them that is special. Not a super easy task. I did that for my sisters wedding and I got chocolate all over me! It was way funny and I appreciate them more knowing how they are made.

I agree its a great idea. Or even little baby picture frames from the .99 cents store so after the baby is born he can send out pictures for everyone to put in them...
I think it is soo sweet and thoughtful of you!! I am sure he will appriciate whatever you do!
