i need Aruba help....

Anyone have any restaurant suggestions. We are staying at the Hyatt. But I heard that there are excellent places to eat in other hotels and in town as well.
TIA

Re: i need Aruba help....

well def go to the restaurants in the hyatt. there are 4. basically, for breakfast, we had 2 or 3 mornings with full breakfasts, including omelets, pancakes, waffles, fresh squeezed juice, etc. then on the ohter mornings, i went to the yogurt/coffee shop for a muffin.

they have juice/smoothie bar that we went to for lunch. they also have a swim up bar in the pool area. also, lounging on the beach allows for laziness to continue because there is a waitress that walks the beach and takes orders for burgers, etc.

for dinner, we ate at every restaurant there and LOVED them. there is italian (Café Piccolo
, japanese, seafood (Ruinas del Mar) and burgers, so all areas are covered. then we went into town. we ate at chez mathilda http://www.chezmathilde.com/ ($200 but amazing!!!!!!!!!) that was big treat number 1!!! french cuisine and elegant for sure! we also ate at Tango across the street. That was fun!

def. do searches on this board. a lot of where we went were suggestions from dh's parents and this board. you will love it!

also..it books up fast so try to make sure you make a reservation when you get there because sometimes you wont get it until a few days later..and make it for a time that you get to see the sun set...its the most beautiful thing..i love that place..

Papamiento - You dine around a pool, very romantic

Aqua Grill - very yummy, mostly seafood

Pirates Nest - you can make a reservation to dine privately on the beach or you can dine on their deck which faces the ocean. It was so beautiful.

We LOVED Sunset Grille in the Radisson hotel but $$$$(it's like a NY steakhouse). Flying Fishbone is very good and so is El Gaucho. May of the locals suggested Chalet Suisse but we didn't really like it.

OOOOO we just came back and ate at:
Pago Pago - in the wyndham
Flying Fishbones
El Gaucho
Le Dome
Chez Mathilde
Sunset Grill-radisson
Aqua Grill
Azul- wyndham
Smokey Joes

they are all great-
Azul and flying fishbones on the beach dining-
Le Dome and Chez Mathilde- french and you have to get dressed up - men in slacks
El Gaucho - I wasnt impressed really with their steak I heard Amazonia next to Aqua Grill is better
if you like caviar dont get it from Chez, get it at Le Dome- its much better and so is the price- at chez it cost us 150 and at le dome it was 99. Le domes taste so much better. and yes that was just for the caviar that price-
I miss it there allready

I wanna go back
