No real theme. Calla's, Green apple, pink and sage colors
you could play off of the green apple theme and maybe find a small ceramic pie plate (i have seen mini ones that would be the perfect size for a personal pie at Target for like $2 or $3) and wrap that up with a family pie recipe? i know that's sort of our of left field, but you would be passing on something that people could use over and over and a recipe that brings joy... just an idea.

go onto martha stewart's weddings... she always has original 'good things'.....
our favor is one.... and it perfect for our victorian harbor theme.... 'rosemary seasalt'.... (rosemary was always present in weddings in that era, and sea salt... you get the idea) We're also avid cooks, so it's also a wink to the gourmet thing...
maybe you can be inspired by her too

We're doing stained glass nightlights. (Pics in my Favors album because i can never get them to post here).
I never thought I would be giving out nightlights at my wedding but I stumbled on them when I was looking for a small piece of stained glass. I figure I will write a little poem of something about sweet dreams. Anyway, we're both Irish so the one I picked out works for most of my guest list.
We're also thinking about putting chocolates on the table too. People are either going to love it or think we're weird. Oh well - I was trying to come up with something different too!

This was on Martha Stewart they are really cute... only thing is they would have to be duplicated at a bakery, no site given to buy. Shes a crafty woman
they have all kinds of cookie art...runway replicas, cake cookies, monogram cookies, hearts, etc. look thru the pics, theyre so cute.

i wish i could help you out EV ..... bill and i know how frustrating favors can be........ugh!
I think this is what we're gonna do too.... the favors were getting way too $$ and I couldn't find anything I really liked that was under $4 a person. Candy buffets are fun and everyone gets to choose their own kind! If I went to a wedding with a candy buffet I'd think it was a really cute idea!

I know I am going through the same thing, but it also depends on how many people you are having and how much you want to spend. Also think if you are giving one per couple or per person.
