I need help............

I need help............

FH's father is deceased and he wants his mother to walk down the church aisle with his older brother. I am okay with that. But, here is my mini dilemna. His brother is suppose to be a GM and was suppose to walk with one of the BMs.
Would it be okay for his mother to walk into the reception by herself or would she still have to walk in with her son (FH's brother)???

I think it might be a little tough for her to walk in alone at the reception.... Does she have any Grandchildren? Or someone else close to the Family thats not in the BP???

all the grandchildren are in the bridal party. the only other person is FH's sister.

i've been in BP in the same situation......the brother and mom walk down together, and then the brother just walks back down the side aisle and pairs up with the BM....just put him at the end of the lineup so that he has enough time to walk back to the BM.....it looks fine, and usually works well unless you have a huge church and its a long walk

oops...i misread....in the case of the reception....cant one of the other GM double up on BMs so that it fixes the extra girl?

I went to a wedding where one of the BMs walked the grandpa down the isle and walked back up on the side and walked back down with one of the GMs.
I say let the both of them walk down with her if thats what they want.

just tell him to put a little pep in his step on the way back! and for the other couples to walk slow.....it'll be fine....for the reception i would not have her walk in alone at all, i think she'll feel terrible that shes by herself....have the brother walk with her, and have another GM walk in with 2 BMs he'll think he's hot s hit for having 2 girls

It won't look bad. When my sister got married my brother walked first my grandma down the aisle, then he came back down the side aisle for my mom and walked her down the aisle, then (the poor kid!) came back down the side aisle to escort the BM down the center aisle. My sister got married at St Rose of Lima which has the longest aisle on Long Island!
