My cousin just got engaged to the most amazing person and she's starting out the whole wedding process. Obviously, she's extremely overwhelmed like most of us were when we first started and needs some help finding a venue. I gave her the price quotes that I got when I was searching for my perfect RH but unfortunately, opposite times of the year...lol. Can anyone suggest a place that suits what she's looking for? September 2012 wedding on a Saturday night. Suffolk or Nassau, doesn't matter. Has to accomodate 125-150 guests. And preferrably has an outdoor ceremony area. Looking to be at most $140 including tax and grat. Any help would be amazing. TIA!!

Hamlet at Willow Creek in Mt. Sinai is awesome. Im booked at 130 per person including all taxes and everything. They have an inside and outside cocktail hour which I loved in case of rain. The food is really good as well. And Barbara, the wedding coordinator is so knowledgeable. I booked there immediately.
I think I went to a wedding there, and it was very good. Food was great. They transitioned the ceremony into cocktail hour very nicely. (It was actually amazing how they did it, they blocked off sections with dividers but it was in such a way that you really felt like you were in a different 'room')

Try Lands End too in Sayville. We went to a wedding there and there's a little gazebo area where they set up chairs for the ceremony. We went to a wedding there in mid August and it was very pretty. Food was good too!!!

Oh and the grouds are beautiful I heard...

Old Field Club is $130 but for a Sunday they only charge $110 even if it's a holiday weekend. We got married on the Sunday before Labor Day. Everything was perfect, the food was amazing. We had an outdoor ceremony and people can sit outside for cocktail hour too. We loved it!!
