I would like to book a DJ any recomendations and i cant deside on BM dresses, My Wedding is in September, what color? and my wedding party is all different heights and weights ... I will take any ideas.. thanks

We're having a band but I've seen lots of great DJ's/MC's at weddings..My favorites would be: Starlight Express (Vinny or Paul) FM Entertainment Body Rock
As for dresses, September is a great time of year bc you can do more summery bright colors (mango/fuschia/light blue) or go into more of a fall theme and use richer colors (oranges/deep red's/chocolate). If you have girls with different shapes you always want to be a little more considerate of your bigger girls. Try to go with more forgiving fabrics and nothing too fitted (more A-line or empire wait cuts).

DJ - I highly recommend Long Island Sound Also..FM Entertainment & High Voltage are good to .. I saw all three but ended up booking Long Island Sound. Sorry I cannot help you with BM dresses - I haven't picked those out yet.

My wedding is a week before yours...and I am doing fall colors for flowers and my BMs are wearing brown and gold-- even though most people would say that labor day weekend is summer-- and technically it is! I wanted a fall wedding, but this was the date that worked out the best, so I took it and fall will be coming early next year for my guests lol.
As for DJs I will probably book LI SOund..they did my aunt and uncle's wedding and people loved them so much that a group of guests got together and paid for an extra hour!!
If I don't use LI sound, it would only be because my friends Boyfriend works for a DJ (Crystal Blue DJs) and they may get us a great deal...I've heard good things about them too-- crystalbluedj.com

I love the DJ we selected..... We want a more low-key person, and want to avoid the classic songs commonly played at weddings. We found a guy who once was a club DJ in downtown manhattan. He's perfect for the urban / retro vibe we're trying to achieve..... not to mention he's really nice and very professional!

dress tip- i have found the chiffon is not forgiving at all. also take the biggest girl (if not all the girls) dress shopping this way u know if it looks good on her it will look good on the other girls. i know it sounds mean, but my friend who was in a wedding and was the biggest girl went to the dress store with just the bride and they found the perfect dress w/o her feeling embarrassed.
