I need help with BM dresses =/

I'm having a sort of theme wedding and I would like it to be a cross between victorian and fairy tale-ish...My question is.. what would you have your bm's wear? I have not a clue.. and I don't want the typical type dresses for the girls either..

Help!

Re: I need help with BM dresses =/

I've been browsing the internet for you... it's hard to find anything out there... check out:
www.loralie.com/bridesmaidc.php3?p+4 (style #8829) or velvetrosedesign.com or
kissthefrog.co.uk/fairy/frogdresses.html (when you're on this site the bridesmaid dresses are actually flower girl dresses...) Check out the 'Regency' & 'Corset & Lace' styles... If this is not even close to what you're looking for please redirect me, I'm happy to help. If worse comes to worse, you could always have the dresses made...

Re: I need help with BM dresses =/

the kiss the frog site is faboo!!!

I love the whole strapless, a-line tea length type of dress.. do you think if I incorporated a whimsical (sp?) type sleeve it would be ok? or would it look stupid?

Re: I need help with BM dresses =/

I think a sleeve could definetely work... I guess it really just depends on the look you're going for. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

Re: I need help with BM dresses =/

I also think it depends on what your BM feel comfortable in. You can do an empire waisted, flowing sleeves gown, but not many bodies look good in that style. I am short and that would look very unflattering on me. Just something to consider.

Could we see a picture of your dress, to see what may coordinate nicely?

Re: I need help with BM dresses =/

I really don't want to do the empire waist thingie, cause it won't be flattering on some of my girls..I'd like to have this dress

in one of these colors...

maize

dark gold

Gold

and then I can incorporate a sheer angled sleeve?
