I need help with covering my tattoos!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!
I went to Davids Bridal today to try on some gowns. The gowns was lovely, except for my tattoos. Can some one help me . I know about the kit, we bought it for my niece and it did not help. You can see all her tottoos in most of her pics (that is not sexy ). If someone knows a design that can help me design a dress i will really appreciate it.

i heard of something called dermablend. it's supposed to be good.

i loved seeing my tatoos in my dress...i got them because they ARE sexy..i dont really understand women who cover them because they dont like them...do you regret them all together? i dont have any good shots of mine yet, but take a look at beaviss80's profile...is the girl NOT sexy? gimme a break..shes a hottie :

DERMABLEND IS CRAPPY FOR COVERING TATOOS..ESPECIALLY ON AFRICAN AMERICAN SKIN..

I have a tattoo on my back and I don't want it to show on my wedding day so I totally feel what you are saying. I'm having a church ceremony, and I would never go to church on a Sunday with it showing!

Airbrush make-up! I have a tattoo on my back and one on my arm. I plan on having them airbrushed for my wedding. But I have been to weddings where brides did not cover the tatto on their back or their arm. I think you should do what makes you feel comfortable.

I recommend airbrush makeup. Find a makeup artist who uses it, it's so worth it! My bridesmaids had some tatoos and they were invisible on my wedding day thanks to airbrushing.

The OP asked advice as to a method of covering her tattoos, not 'do you think I should?' Let's not judge people...it only causes drama.
Like the ladies previously stated, the 'at home' kits they sell do not work - airbrush makeup is definitely the way to go.

I would say airbrush because of matching your skin tone.
Some people love their work and will show their colors all the time and some people feel there is a time and a place.
I may have a bridesmaid (may just have my man of honor and fh's man of honor, fg and rb) who is neck to toe covered in tatts, i am not making her cover them up but the dresses will have a jacket anyway due to being cold. I am making her take out her septum ring. I am having my eyebrow rings in but not sporting my septum either in my wedding pictures and would not want her to show hers. Could care less about her other stuff on her face just that stands out the most IoI

I heard airbrushing can make them diappear...but are you sure you want all of them gone? I only have one and it's on my lower back but I wish there was a way for me to show it off because I would love to!

I just bought the dermablend and yes it is CRAPPY for African American skin....did you try anything else that you can possibly recommend? Thank you SO much!
