I need help with NARS lip gloss

Hey girls. I'm not really I lip stick/lip gloss kind of girl, however, i'm looking for a color to get for the wedding day and so many people rave about NARS products, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Anyway, I like the color 'bad education' but i'm not sure if that is going to be too red. I want something sheer with a little pop of color.

Can you recommend a color?

more a pink, more a little reddish, more in the browns?

ps the chart on sephora doesn't do the lipglosses justice, see them in person on you


I was looking for something a little natural with a tiny hint of color. I was thinking more of a nudish pink. But i think you girls are right, i need to go to sephora and try them on.

i would go with a sheer pink.... mac has reaaly nice ones ---- and so does chanel ....not to sticky also

I would look at diot addict lip gloss or MAC lipglass ( not carried at sephora) also, i find nars to be a little goopy/thick for gloss and i prefer a light gloss

i went and bought 2 NARS lip glosses during lunch. bad education is pretty red, esp if you're not used to wearing color, it may be too much, JMO. i bought dolce vita which is beautiful, sheer and pretty natural. i also bought stella, but that has quite a bit of color to it. knowing me i'll end up returning it.

i would go to sephora and try it on yourself to see which looks best

for lipgloss I LOOOOOVE lancomes juicy tubes, they stay on well and give you great shine

for wedding i had a gloss but one that came with the brush to apply it. The brush is not separate its inside the gloss and when you take the top off that is the brush. It also has more color than just a shiny lipgloss, very light though
