I need help with NARS lip gloss

Hey girls. I'm not really I lip stick/lip gloss kind of girl, however, i'm looking for a color to get for the wedding day and so many people rave about NARS products, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Anyway, I like the color 'bad education' but i'm not sure if that is going to be too red. I want something sheer with a little pop of color.

Can you recommend a color?

really pretty!

I use NARS lip gloss. I use the ******/Hustler duo. But they're not really wedding/photo colors I don't think. They're more sheer.
I'll take a look at lunch today. There's a Sephora next to door to my building.

no problem. It gives me an excuse to rack up more point on my Beauty Rewards card. I swear I spend half my paycheck in there, it's evil that it's right next door.

I can't believe they blanked out O R G A S M. How lame.

i love love LOVE NARS lip gloss. of the colors on the link, i have METIS (my fave!), chantico and rose birman. i use the rose birman as my red gloss, but it is quite dark on me, so it may not be what you want for your wedding. what kind of color are you looking for? i really like stella and supervixen, they seem like they'll be really sheer. i see a trip to sephora coming up during my lunch hour.

I've used
Org asm - one of my favs also
Risky Business - more of a pop color, can be nice for a wedding
Stolen Kisses - used for daily reg wear
Gothika - deeper color

Depends your coloring if they will look similar on you. But I would either go to sephora, or better yet bloomies, Lord & Taylor etc & have the girls at the counter try some on you. Last time I went to L&T the girl introduced me to a bunch of colors I would not have automatically picked out from what it looked like on the tube, but they looked better actually one me. (does that make sense how I wrote it?)

PS they are all fairly natural on me too. none are overwhelming. I barely wear makeup so I like light stuff. It last pretty good, though you will need to reapply after eatting & if you kiss people hello on the cheek. They do transfer. It isn't like the mac lipglosses that stick to you lips better, though I didn't like the macs as much because I do not like a heavy sticky gloss (the nars is light & pretty moisturizing)

what tone you looking for?
more a pink, more a little reddish, more in the browns?

ps the chart on sephora doesn't do the lipglosses justice, see them in person on you

look under lip lacquer it is a nude pinkish really pretty if you want a natural color
