I need help with ordering the dress

I already ordered my dress but, havent sent it in yet with measurements.
At first I was told with in a month or so to come back and do it, fine. I went the other day and now she is saying you can wait til the summer or so since the dress wont come in til 2 months before the wedding anyway.
So my question is do I get measured in the summer since the dress wont come in til 2 months before the wedding or order it now and request that it comes in earlier then 2 months before the wedding?

I think they took my measurements when they ordered the dress. That determined what size they ordered for me. Did they already order your dress? If it comes in two months before, you'll be fine since thats about the time to start fittings.

They have it placed but, not totally in, if that makes sense..... I was thinking to go back in the beginning of the summer to get measured and then request that it comes in 3-4 months earlier for just in cases. But when you oreder it and they say it takes 6-9 months I would think that it comes to the store at that time but, I was told you have to request it to come to the store.
