I Need Help With PhotoShop.....STILL NEED HELP!!

I'm trying to make my direction cards using Photo Shop. Another Bride helped me find the magnetic pen, which follows the roads.. Great right???? I can't get the magnetic pen to release the line... I don't know what to do, and I'm about to throw the laptop across the room....

The pen follows the road nicely, but if you try to double click it to end the line, another line appears.. Can anyone help me figure this out????? PLEASEEEEEE......

UPDATE:
OK.... I figured out how to release the pen... Now it won't save... Please help me!!!!!!

HOW do I MAKE it SAVE!!!!!

I think you press the escape button to release the pen tool. Umm as for the reason why it wont save, maybe try clicking back on the arrow tool and try saving, if its an actual version of photoshop you should have not too many problems with saving, but if it;s not it might have some glitches (spelling) in the program.

I just tryed it, I thought maybe you were on a locked layer, but on my version as soon as you use the pen tool it creates a new layer..and i didnt have a problem saving.. sorry I can't help you further..goodluck! I know using computers can be frustrating.

I don't understand this layering thing......?????
