HI everyone!!! I have narrowed my search for a reception site to 2: the Woodbury Country Club and Crest Hollow Country Club. I actually heard some bad reviews on the Crest Hollow Country Club. Has anyone ever been to these places or know anything about them? I would be getting married and having the reception at the same place. Any info is appreciated!!!!!

i am getting married at crest hollow. I have heard great things about it. My family has been there for 2 occassions. And i know a lot of people that have been there and they all loved it. They all loved the food!
i am looking forward to having my wedding there.

I visited both placewhen I was looking and I must say that I thought the rooms were birghter and prettier at Woodbury than at Crest hollow, but I liked the BM at Crest Hollow better.
I ultimately fell in love with Jericho Terrace and both fell out of the race but I've only heard good things about those other two places.

I am getting married at a church and then coctail hour starts at 6:30. There is another bride that day but i have opted to take my pics elsewhere so we dont have any issues. What time are they offering you? Did you meet with Andrew?

Definitely Woodbury.
Beautiful Grounds, good food (I can't say the same for crest hollow...sorry for those getting married there)
I have been to quite a few weddings and proms at the crest hollow and I don't think you will get the same quality as Woodbury.
I didn't even think the two were in competition with each other. JMO

I just went to a wedding at the Woodbury Country Club. I liked it. The grounds are beautiful but, unfortunately the B&G were unable to take advantage of it b/c it rained. If you don't mind, let me give you a tip. A lot of the staff there doesn't speak English so I would do menu's. My table was complaining b/c they couldn't understand what was being served.

My cousin got married at Woodbury and I just loved it there!!!
DEFINITELY WCC!!! I got married there in November and it was unbelievable. The grounds are stunning, the food is phenomenal and the staff is fantastic - I have nothing but great things to say about them. Feel free to fm me if you have any questions!
ETA - We also had our ceremony here as well - and everything was perfect.

My future bro and sis-in-law got married at Woodbury CC in November and it was gorgeous and the service was great. The review is on here, the bride is lizzynyu. FM her for more info, she'd be glad to share I'm sure, she LOVED them!!

Is your wedding date correct? You're getting married in 2 days and haven't yet picked out a reception site?

I visited Crest Hollow Country Club and the BM was top notch... Unfortunately, Woodbury Country Club fell out of the running because they weren't opening the 2010 calendar until August and I wanted to book my RH before that.
I didn't like Crest Hollows colors... the grounds are beautiful, but the mauve carpeting with the flowers really just... it bothered me, and if it wasn't for the chair covers -- I didn't like the velvet colors.
Thirdly we're only having 100 people and CHCC was very limited on when they could offer whichever room and the restrictions got confusing to me.
If you do go to look at CHCC definitely meet with Sharon, I loved her, and she's awesome.

i would go with woodbury. i've been to 2 weddings at crest hollow and wasnt impressed. FH has been to many christmas parties there and weddings and he didnt like it mu h either (sorry to those who chose crest hollow)

I heard the reason why thay have not opened up the 2010 cal. is because they are closing. The owner owns real estate and I think he is putting condos up. Be careful all you WCC girls! But if I had a choice between the 2 - Def. WCC. Too many disappointments at Crest Hollow that I have experienced.
