I need help with shoes!

I'm a retard when it comes to picking out shoes. What do you wear with a casual outfit, like let's say jeans and a cute t-shirt or casual shirt? I need shoes to wear with jeans but I don't want to wear sneakers all the time. So if me and FH go out to the movies or something, I need good shoes to wear.
