Wow - they're less than $1 on cudge.net - If you want to elleviate the cost - skip the candles, and get tea-lights instead. You can buy tea-lights at ikea - a bag of 100 was like $2.99 - $4.99

How many do you need - lemme do a search...

thanks.... thats what i was fearing....

i may have to drop to the frosted or the clear ones..... i'm not the biggest fan of the clear ones.

do you think four on a table will provide a nice glow?

I don't think 4 would enough for a glow w/the frosted ones - even though I would definitely go w/frosted than with clear ones.

If that's the case, I wouldn't get the tea-lights, and go with the votive candles - b/c those will emit more light. I originally thought you were going to use them as placecards, where the votives get hot, and the tea-lights do not.

Re: I need help with votive candles....

I got mine on cudge, they were the cheapest I found anywhere, but I had the clear, round holders. With the tax and shipping, i think the total prce came to about 70 cents per candle plus holder (i bought the ones that were on special).

One thing I will mention is that I used votive candles that would last 10 hours. If I had used tealights (which my hall warned me about), they only last a few hours and would have to be replaced if I wanted candles going all night.

I had 216 votives, and they all lasted all night.

ETA: I had a great experience with Cudge, all 216 candles and holders were delivered sooner than pormised, and in perfect condition.
