Now...I would probabaly leave it alone becaused she's not worth the aggravation. It's just bet to ignore those people that just won't get it.

I will be happy to create a custom 'Don't Save the Date' for ya to e-mail her now!!!!!!!! haha...so it sounds like she was just looking for an 'in' to get back together with all the people she lost touch with...nice of her to write...instead of saying something like 'oh i was hoping to be there for your big day since we've lost touch & i am so happy to be speaking with you again'...she sounds like a loser...better off without her in your life or at your wedding!

unfortunately, I have a 'friend' like this.
that type of person is so self-centered that its all about them to the point they dont care if they hurt others or make other people uncomfortable.
at least you now know that she just wanted to go to your wedding to see everyone, but honestly, if you haven't seen her in three years, then you have no obligation to invite her and don't think twice!

Thanks Ladies! I've calmed down from it all but I wanted to thank you all for making me feel better. As much as a ridiculous thing it was, it was so awkward to ever go through something like this, so I thank you all for letting mebitch.
I've decided to just leave it and hope for the best.

I think it's funny how we don't want to offend someone that we haven't seen in years or really don't care for. I'm not just saying you, I mean people in general. I have no problem telling people thing in a way that won't hurt thier feelings and I think what you wrote her was just that. I can see your point but don't get upset. She's just another fly you swatted off the wall. Good riddance!!

geez it stinks, i went through a similar situation with a 'friend' ...i dont know what people think u did great by not inviting her, as big as my guest list maybe considered 300-325 people they are all my CLOSE family and friends...yet ever since i got engaged, ppl i barely even know say ' oh so hows the wedding planning coming along, dont forget outrinvite ' and im just like do i know you? last time i saw you was 3 years ago in the mall ..lol
