Hey girls!! FI and I are really thinking of booking aruba for our honeymoon. His cousin just got back this week and stayed at the wyndam. And her and her hubby hated it. They said it was too windy and very pricey in town. If any of you girls have been to aruba can you tell me how you like it. Or can anyone give me some ideas. Thanks girls I am soooo confused now I don't know what to do.

I LOVE LOVE Aruba. I go every yr. I went in May for my HM. Stayed at the Wyndham. although the Radisson is my fav.
There are constant winds, I think they are 8mph? Bring a scungi. I think the wind is totally refreshing.
Weather is always beautiful, Aruba is outside the hurricane belt, you can tour the whole island, it's totally safe & the becahes are BEAUTIFUL!!!
Alot of us ladies on LIW, have been there & love it!

I have never heard one bad thing about Aruba actually! I know quite a few people who have been there and they all said it was fantastic! Many cant wait to go back or have been there numerous times!

Thanks Jennbaby. Did you do the all inclusive? Fh cousin said it was a rip off that only certain dinner items were included and they had to pay like $15 more if they wanted a steak dinner.

WE BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON FOR NEXT AUGUST GOING TO ARUBA!! I HAVE NEVER EHARD A SINGLE BAD WORD ABOUT ARUBA AT ALL!!! I AM NOW A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR ABOUT THIS ALL INCLUSIVE DEAL AT THE WYNDHAM BEING A LET DOWN BECAUSE WE ARE STAYING THERE DOING THE ALL INCLUSIVE. THE TRAVEL AGENT SAID THE FOOD WAS GREAT THERE. SHE ALSO SAID IT WAS ALL MEALS AND DRINKS... IF THAT IS TRU ABOUT THE STEAK I AM ALREADY DISAPPOINTED.. DID YOU HEAR ANYTHING ABOUT THE DRINKS?

I would NOT do all inclusive, the reason is because there are too many great restaurants in Aruba to go to.
And since the island is safe, you are not stuck in your hotel.

I think this is the first I have ever heard of anyone disliking Aruba. LOL
I am def. gong back there for my honeymoon and thanks to Jennbaby I know of a lot more to do this time around!!

Thanks girls!!! I thought this was crazy too. I also have only heard great things about Aruba. Now just have to convince Fi it will be great. I have my heart set on Aruba!!!

Aruba was beautiful - every single day was in the high 80s and sunny - you are almost guaranteed good weather. We stayed at the Sonesta resort and loved it since there was a boat in the hotel that took you to the Sonesta private island - great for Honeymooning since its a tiny island thats not crowded at all. There are also a lot of fun activities - horseback riding on the beach, snorkeling, four wheeling, and plenty of relaxing sun time!
