I need hugs
Warning this is a little bit of a vent...
My mother calls me at work today to tell me that my church sort of double booked my wedding![]()
Apparently Father called the house and told my mom that another girl booked the church for the same day a half hour before me and he was asked to do her mass as well. So, when my mother tells this story, she tells me that the priest is going to call the girl and see if she can move up her time a half hour and move mine back a half hour too. Now im panicing since tonight we had to go to the hall and drop off a deposit, sign a contract and do a food tasting.
I called my dad later on to see if he had heard anything and he says whats the big deal? Everything will work out. Apparently my mother forgot to tell me that the priest is not 'asking' the girl to switch her time but he is 'telling' her to switch it. Apparently she booked it first but for some reason mine was the only one in the calendar.
Oh wait it gets better, the girl is someone i grew up with and went to grammar school with. My dad said he spoke to her dad and they are willing to split the money for the flowers for the church (so glad they decided this). So in the end i guess it works out.
We went to the hall to sign the contract and it turns out that the CH starts a half hour later than i thought. Now everything will work out and everything is ok. My parents had me on such an emotional roller coaster all day!!! I dont know what I would have done if the church didnt work out!
