I had taken off Wednesday about a month ago for my breast sonogram so my director already knew I wasnt coming in. I already used my 3 (yes only 3) sick days so I was going to be docked for this day. But now I am thinking she will be closing the school for snow on Wednesday..
I think she should pay me right? I mean, we always get paid for snow days and everyone else will be paid. Am I right?

umm, that's a tricky one. technically, you already took off, regardless of the snow. i guess it depends on your boss and how she treats it.

If she's closed - it shouldn't count as a day off.

I know in my previous job if you already took off then you won't get paid. But in my present job, we would get paid. I think it varies from company to company. I hope you get paid!

It's written in our employee manual that if you already have an approved absence and the school closes, your time still gets charged.
