I need opinions for after party invites

Okay, so FH and I are hosting an after party since our wedding/reception is in the afternoon.

I have a lot of OOT coming from the midwest and a majority of them have never been to NY.

We secured a limobus that will be picking us up at our Hotel. The only problem is there is limited seating.

We are planning on making some calls to LI clubs to see who will give us the best package for us and all of our friends.

Is it tacky to ask people to join us at location X at a certain time, while asking others to come on the limo?

Is it too much to ask people to continue celebrating with us?

Would you, as a guest, feel honored OR pressured to join the after party?

I was debating this also .. i lucky found a hotel with a bar so that way we can go there after the day wedding no prasportation needed and people can come and go as they please... good luck

i'm not sure...if this was night-time - i'd have an issue with feeling pressured...but as it's not - i'm okay with it.

i don't see ANY issue that some people will be shuttled over. I think a good idea may be to let people know that you will be having a limo bus thing for close family (so that everyone can know that it's family & they're not arriving to the place and going, well, well, well....)...

Luckily we have a bar at our hotel, but it is very small!

The money issue concerns me, but if I was invited I would be thrilled!

Actually, the whole after party won't start until MUCH later. Our reception ends at 6pm and limo will arrive at 9pm.

we r doing an after party too........not so much 'party' but a gathering lol my reception ends at 6:30 the hotel i blocked room sat has a bar/resturaunt so we r gonna hang there after.

FH and I will be gettin back into wedding garb and finish taking photos in Manhattan iconic locations.

We are going to make our mark on a few hot spots in NYC............who doesn'tlove a couple who just got hitched?

I know!!!!!!!! All that money and time spent with alterations, I am going to want to wake up and put it back on justt for the special treatment wearing that frock will bring!
