OK - As of right now, we dont have a flower girl, which i didnt really care about FH has a 9 year old sister who will be 10 when we get married
His parents are not together and his mom is in a nursing home, though she is only 55, she is really sick and basically in a coma
When they do the intros at the reception, FFIL would come out alone which i think may make him feel weird
Should we ask his sister to be the FG so she could walk out with his father and they can introduce them together? Is 10 too old?

I don't think 10 is too old for a FG. I've heard of all different ages but if you don't want a FG, I think it would be fine if she is just introduced and walks out with your FFIL, even if she is not part of the wedding party.

its not that i dont want one she is the only girl that we have, we both have ALL nephews - he has one neice but she's 13 so if we have a FG, she's it which is fine
should we have her walk out with her dad instead of the RB's so he doesnt have to come out alone??

10 is definitely too old for a flower girl. She can be junior bridesmaid, and she can walk in with her father.

thanks, i didnt really think it was too old either, i wouldnt go older than 10 because then that's pre-teen, but i thought 10 was fine

thanks girls i think we've decided that she is NOT too old my mom thinks its fine - she's a little girl so i am pretty sure thats what we'll do

We are having a 10 year old Jr BM. Only because i'm having 4 other FGs and the Jr BM's 12 year old brother will be a Jr GM.

I don't think she is too old. If she thinks she is you can make her a junior BM. If you aren't having her in the wedding, she can still walk in with FFIL during the intros.

My FGs are going to be 9 and 6 I don't think 10 is too old as long as she is still a little girl - you know, some ten year olds are 'too cool for the room'
My niece is such a sweetie pie - and so innocent, she could be a FG at 11 ( i hope! lol)
I think it is very nice of you to think of your FFIL like this! I love when brides don't forget that it is NOT only their day
